Collision: The Conflict of Faith & Culture
This series is an honest effort to get Christians to have meaningful, deep, respectful conversations about the issues we face at the collision of faith and culture… to bring both grace and truth to the table in our conversations. This is for those of you who are trying to live out the directive to love the Lord your God will all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves, but you just don’t always know how to do that. We want to see if we can learn new ways to engage in the struggle and not withdraw from it, but engage in a way that honors the Lord and is faithful to the Word.
Theme verse. (love for you to memorize this passage). Colossians 4:2-6 (ESV) 2Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. 3At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison – 4that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. 5Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
(Sermons are typically posted by Tuesday)
