Paul Bernard --Associate Pastor/ Student Ministries Pastor
I have been the Pastor of Student Ministries here at Lake Alamanor Community Church since 2006. I've been married to my wife Carol for 15 years, and we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter named Samantha. She is the highlight of our days. Student ministry has been such a blessing to me over the past 7 years. I love getting to know Jr. and Sr. High School students and helping them grow more and more solid in their walks with the Lord. I love watching kids grow into young adults as a part of this minsitry, and it does my heart good when they live their lives for Him.

Matt Jensen-- Associate Pastor
I was born and raised in Lancaster California. By the grace of God, I grew up going to church because my mom took me (sometimes against my will). God opened my eyes to the gospel sometime around Junior High. I had heard the good news repeatedly for years. Due to the collective efforts of my mom, Sunday school teachers, and preachers at church I was awakened and responded in faith by asking for forgiveness and trusting Christ for salvation. I experienced the gospel that is the power of God for salvation for all who believe (Romans 1:16). I began serving in youth group when I was about 15 and this led to fulltime ministry as a youth pastor after college. Marlo & I were married in 1993 and then served in Youth Ministry together for about 14-15 years (11 of these here at LACC). We became members of Lake Almanor Community Church in 1995. Along the way we had two awesome children, Mikala (16) and Nicolas (14). We just recently returned from about 7 1/2 years in Ecuador where we served at Youth World as some of LACC's missionaries. We are glad to be back home and would love to serve the church in any way we can. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Krissy House -- Office Coordinator
Krissy has enjoyed being a part of the LACC team since 2004. Prior to her employment at LACC, she was employed in the accounting field for 12 years working in both the public and private sector. Coming from a Christian home she cannot remember a time when her Lord and Savior has not been by her side. In 2010, He reminded her that he is always there (Matthew 28:20, Joshua 1:5) when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. (She won and loves to tell her story!) Krissy is native to the Lake Almanor area being born in Chester and raised in Hamilton Branch. She graduated from Chester High School in 1988 and went on to attend Butte Community College and Chico State. In 1991, Krissy married her childhood friend Davy House. Together they spent 22 years renovating a home and raising their children in Westwood. In December of 2013 they relocated to Greenville and are now on their second home renovation. Davy and Krissy have two daughters; Erin & Brooke. August of 2014 will be a busy month for the House family, Brooke will begin her senior year of high school and Erin, who has completed one year at Chico State will be married to Christian Hulsey. After the wedding, Erin will join her husband at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC.
