ELEMENTARY CAMP: Hume Lake Wagon Train

July 30- August 5, 2017     Cost:  $465.00
Wagon Train is a fun, rustic summer camp for kids age 8-11 years old. This Old West experience includes sleeping in a real covered wagon, learning Archery and BB guns, riding canoes and kayaks around the pond and exploring Fort Logan (our three story island fort) . But the fun doesn’t stop there! Camp-wide recreation games like Capture the Flag, the Water Carnival and our awesome night game Stampede will have you talking about camp for years to come. You’ll also sit around a campfire singing worship songs, memorize scripture, watch amazing skits about the Bible performed by the Wagon Train staff and hear each morning and evening the Good News of Jesus and his love for us. I almost forgot to mention: D&G tag, the Flying Fox zipline, Chipmonk rappelling rock, Giant Swing, Trading Post, and the new tree house: Burnside Manor. You’ll experience all this and more, like great food, friends and fun.

Come join us this summer!

Call Chrystal at the church at 530-596-3683 for registration details.

JR. HIGH CAMP: Meadow Ranch at Hume Lake

July 30 - Aug 5, 2017          Cost: $540

Meadow Ranch is our camp at Hume Lake for junior high students. One of the many things we love about Hume Lake is the opportunity to get away from the busyness and distractions that young people face on a daily basis and have an incredible camp experience. When you come to Meadow ranch, you will hear the gospel preached, be challenged through scripture, engage in sweet worship through music and get some time alone and with your church to process what God did in your life up here at camp. Hume Lake takes pride in its high energy recreation allowing kids to be kids. That includes things like relays, waterwars, and an epic great race. If you allow it, a week at Hume can and will change your life forever. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Please email Pastor Matt to receive the registration documents electronically.  mjensen@lacconline.org

HIGH SCHOOL: Kickback

June 19-23, 2017          Cost: $175
We spend the first week of summer chilling by, and in, Lake Minden north of Sacramento, California.  We camp next to the lake with five other church youth groups. This tradition has become known as KICKBACK, and for those of us who have gone, WE LOVE IT!  It's a great week of kicking back (yes), joining tournaments (horseshoes, volleyball, Kajabe, basketball, doing everything we can to bring back one or both of the coveted trophies (Horse's Head or Horses Butt, depending on what we win), and ultimately growing closer to God and each other.  Kickback is typically less than half the price of Hume, so if money is an issue, this might be your camp!

If you like camping and chilling out, this is the trip for you!  It isn't like Hume Lake, but everyone who goes agrees that it's just as good, but in a different way.  Hope you can make it!
